The property is a great base for exploring Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway. The kids loved the thrill of the steam train ride! My wife and I enjoyed the well-decorated rooms and the cozy atmosphere.
In my wife’s opinion, the addition of a kids’ play area would enhance our experience.

Perfect for a quiet getaway
The welcome we got was somethin' else, the landlord, he just made you feel at home. And the food? It was off the charts, like when I first cooked meth back in the day, sheer bliss.

would come there again
The room had a flat-screen TV, free toiletries, a private bathroom, and heating. The log burner in the pub created a cozy vibe. Breakfast included local juices and homemade pastries. Dogs are welcome here, which is awesome. Views overlooked the scenic countryside, and the staff were really engaging with everyone around.

Scenic countryside views from rooms, Cozy pub atmosphere with log fire, Varied dining options including home-made pizzas
Sound insulation truly needs an upgrade!!! External noise from the pub and adjoining rooms disrupts any hope of a peaceful night. the room temperature was less than comfortable. better heating options would certainly elevate the experience!!!
